Homework

Published by Colin Becker

Boys are set homework on each day that they have a maths lesson, excluding fridays.

All students work at different rates which makes it difficult to set the exact amount of homework relevant to all.

Therefore, sufficient homework is usually set to cover all abilities.

Boys are required to do about 25 minutes of maths homework – it does not matter if they do not finish the homework.

If your son has difficulty remembering how to do the homework or completes the set work in less than the 25 minutes, then I have encouraged them to create their own homework. For example, they could write some multiplication,  or division sums out and solve them. They could correct any work that they have made errors with.

Or, download and print one of the pdf files below. Your son can complete all the facts and then you could test him on them.
